Ganderbal, Oct 21 : One person died while another critically injured in a road accident near Bajri Nallah Zojila pass in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Wednesday.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a truck bearing registration number JK03B/4773 was on its way to Srinagar from Laddakh when suddenly it skidded off the road and fell into 400-ft deep gorge near Bajri Nallah at Zojila pass.
An official told Kashmir Despatch that a conductor of the truck died on spot while with the joint efforts of police, locals driver was rescued and was taken to nearby hospital where doctors reffered him Srinagar medical institute for advanced treatment.
A police officer told this newspaper that police is veryfing this accident.
