General Manager, DIC, Vishwa Jeet, and other field functionaries of the department were present on the occasion.
Later, the Director also met with the unitholders of the district to assess their problems and issues. She addressed many issues on the spot and passed necessary directions for the early redress of other issues.
During the meeting, the Director briefed the unitholders about the New Central Sector Scheme of Industrial Development for Union Territory of J&K. She informed them about the incentives under the scheme such as Capital Investment Incentives (CIII), Capital Investment Subvention (CIS), Goods & Service Tax Linked Incentives (GST) and Working Capital Interest Subvention (WCIS).
The unitholders expressed their keen interest in establishing new units in District Ramban under the new Industrial Policy.
