Srinagar -:- An Army soldier shot by un known militants at Sofi Gund Tehsil of Pustoona ,Sub district Tral, identified as Dilhar Mushtaq, son of Mushtaq Ahmad Sofi and a resident of Khanagund/Sofigund while he was on leave.
The incident occurred evenin today, the incident creating panic in the area. The injured soldier was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. According to medical reports, his condition is so stable.
Security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to trace the assailants. Further investigations into the motive and identity of the militants are underway.
