Baramulla 3rd March: In an unfortunate incident, fire broke out in the house of Shabbir Ah Sheikh R/O Malpura, SK Bala on 02 Mar 21 at around 1545 Hr which was also observed by the alert sentries of the coy. Acting immediatly on the call for help, tps from SK Bala COB led by the company commander rushed to the spot to help the family in distress. Local fire department was also informed by the Coy cdr & with their jt efforts they were able to put off the fire before it could cause much damage to life or property. The family was provided with fresh refreshments/ ration/ warm clothing to bring them out of the shock. The Offg CO also reached the spot & assured the family for all possible assistance from the Bn. The locals were grateful to the troops for their timely gesture & thanked the Indian Army for such timely help.
