Pulwama, June 8 : Authorities Tuesday stopped illegal soil filling of agricultural land in Saffron Town of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Official sources said that Tehsildar Pampore had received complaint that vested interest elements are resorting to soil filing of agricultural land at Meebagh Drangbal area of Pampore.
Acting upon the complaint, sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that Tehsildar Pampore along with Revenue officials held drive to stop the soil filling of Abi Awal land at Meebagh Drangabal Pampore which was reportedly being filled by a property dealer.
Tehsildar directed officials to take stern action against those who resort to soil filling on agricultural land without any delay. (KNT)
