Nidae KashmirBandipora 26 SEP: Bandipora police continuing its drive against drug dealers and to root out the menace of drugs arrested a drug peddler in Ajas.
Acting on a reliable information police party of police post-Ajas led by I/C PP Ajas Insp. Qaiser Bashir arrested one person namely Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat R/o Malpora S.K Bala Sumbal during a Naka near Chewa Ajas and recovered 24 Bottles of psychotropic substance Codeine Phosphate from his possession.
In this connection Case, FIR No.144 /2020 under relevant sections of the NDPS act has been registered at Police Station Sumbal and further investigation was taken up.
General Public is requested to come forward with any Information regarding drug peddlers in their neighborhood. Persons found indulging in drug peddling & cultivation of contraband substances will be dealt with strictly as per law.
