Sopore:DIG North Kashmir Masood Ul Zaman, spoke to the media on the sidelines of the inaugural match of the Police Martyrs Memorial Cricket Tournament, organized by Sopore police in Sopore. Masood Ul Zaman stated that the primary goal of the tournament is to engage the youth in sports activities. “We want to involve the youth in positive activities. Now that the cricket season is underway, we plan to organize a cricket tournament in the name of our martyrs. We received many applications, but we approved 32.
Today marks the inauguration at MET Ground, Sopore. The families of our martyrs are also present, and we have organized this tournament to honor them. We encourage more participation, especially from children in sports activities, so that we can help them. J&K Police is always with the people, guiding them away from negative influences and engaging them in positive activities to help the nation develop.
