SHOPIAN 12 Aug: District Shopian tennisball cricket championship was organised by District shopian Tennisball cricket Association under the banner of jammu and kashmir sports council and My youth My Pride at sports stadium shopian from 11-12 Aug 2023. In the Championship more than 22 teams Participated from different zones of shopian District in Senior, Junior & Sub Junior Boys & girls Categories in this championship chief guest on opening ceremony was Mr. Mohd Iqbal manager sports stadium shopian and Mr. Mohd Iqbal and the chief guest on closing was SSP Shopian (Miss Tanu sheri) IPS and Special Guest DSP HQ (Mr. Javaid Ahmad) and Guest of honour SHO Police station Shopian (Mr. Gulzar Ahmad).
Overall winner in U-14 boys were NIPS Zainapora and runner up were Shopian Warriors, winner in U-14 Girls were Shopian warriors II and runner up were SHMI Team B.
Winners in U-17 Boys were NIPS Zainapora and runner up were Shopian warriors, Winners in U-17 Girls were SHMI Team A and runner up were Shopian warriors III.
Winners in senior Boys were Trenz Worries and runner up were Friends 11, Winners in senior Girls were Star 11 and runner up were Team Bloom Shopian.
At the closing ceremony our chief guest SSP Shopian encourages participant’s for participating in this District shopian Tennisball cricket CHAMPIONSHIP and also Thanks organisers for organising such events especially in District shopian.
District Shopian tennis ball cricket association thanked Secretary J&K Sports Council Mrs Nuzhat Gul and Secretary J&k Tennis ball association for supporting the players of district Shopian.
