Srinagar// Angel’s Cultural Academy, in collaboration with the J&K Excise Department (Excise Range Central Kashmir) and the Jammu & Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture & Languages (JKAACL), successfully organized a Drug De-Addiction Awareness Program at Tagore Hall, Srinagar on 02 January 2025.The event, themed “Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan & Drug-Free Environment,” aimed to raise awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and encourage a healthier, addiction-free society.
Program Highlights
The program featured enthusiastic participation from students of various schools and colleges in debate and drawing competitions. A poignant drama skit performed by the artists of Angel’s Cultural Academy depicted the perils of drug addiction, leaving a profound impact on the audience. Sheikh Sabzar’s Ladisha on drug abuse was another highlight that resonated deeply with the attendees, drawing rounds of applause. The event was skillfully anchored by Faheem ul Islam.

Dr. Tariq Ahmad Shera, President of Angel’s Cultural Academy, delivered a powerful keynote address, emphasizing the grave societal impact of drug abuse. He expressed his gratitude to all collaborators, participants, and attendees for their pivotal roles in making the event a grand success.
Salim Nabi Mir, Commerce Guru , Tahir Bhat from Alpha English Academy and renowned Author and Writer, Gulal Kashmiri acted as honourable Judges of the proceedings of event.
The program concluded with a united call to action under the Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan, inspiring collective efforts to combat drug abuse and foster a healthier, addiction-free environment.
