Elderly labourer sustains critical injuries after falling of stone-quarry in Bandipora

Srinagar, Apr 20: (GNS) A 58-year-old labourer sustained critical injuries on falling of a stone quarry in the Sader Koot Bala area in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

Reports reaching news agency Global News Service (GNS) said that one Abdul Rashid Rather, aged 58 years, son of Ghulam Ahmad Rather, a resident of SK Bala fell off while working at the stone quarry.

The elderly labourer sustained critical injuries in the incident and was immediately evacuated to SMHS Hospital Srinagar.

Confirming the incident, a police official concerned told GNS that the labourer sustained injuries after a slip at the site.

Meanwhile, the condition of the injured labourer continues to be critical when this report is being filed. (GNS)
