Five-day training programme on ‘Data Analysis using Advanced MS-Excel’ concludes at NIELIT Jammu

JAMMU, JANUARY 06: State Taxes Department’s (STDs) five-day training programme on ‘Data Analysis using Advanced MS-Excel’ for 2nd batch of officers at National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), Jammu Campus concluded today.

Commissioner State Taxes, Dr. Rashmi Singh and Deepak Wasan, Executive Director, NIELIT J&K, jointly presided over the valedictory function of the training programme.

Speaking on the occasion, Rashmi Singh remarked that such kind of training modules and programmes will be held on regular basis to keep the officers abreast with latest happenings in the digital world. She added that these kind of training modules will enhance the capabilities of working staff and will in turn improve the disposal of services for the public good at large.

Executive Director, NIELIT, while speaking during the valedictory function, emphasized on the need of organising such training programmes on regular intervals for the departmental candidates to enhance their capabilities towards effective use of technology in their day to day working. He added that NIELIT, the capacity building area of Union Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology is committed to impart Quality Education in the field of IECT.

On the occasion, the participants appreciated and lauded the initiative taken by the department to impart such quality training to them which will contribute towards effective and efficient data analysis by them.

During the valedictory function session, certificates were also distributed among the participants on successful completion of the course.
