A 15-year-old girl who ran away from her father who allegedly used to rape her was raped by another man for 28 days in captivity. The incident happened in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur. The accused father has been arrested.

The incident came to light when the survivor’s grandfather took her to the police station saying that she was subjected to physical assault.

Thereafter, the survivor was taken to the hospital for medical examination. During the counseling session, the girl narrated her ordeal and said her father had been raping her repeatedly for the last two years.

The father suspected the girl’s mother of infidelity and doubted if the girl was his own daughter. When the girl turned 13, he started to sexually assault her.

When her grandfather got wind of the sexual assault she was being subjected to by her father, he got her a separate house near the village. He used to visit her there every day.

But the girl’s uncle allegedly sent another man and got her raped over a period of 28 days in captivity. When she escaped from the house and came to her grandparent’s house, her father sexually assaulted her again.

The girl lived with his uncle, aunt, and grandparents. The uncle and aunt also abused her but she was living in the house with the support of her grandparents.

Mangilal Rathod, ACP Boranada said, “A girl has registered a complaint against her father for sexually assaulting her. She is undergoing treatment at the moment.”
