Srinagar, Apr 15: (GNS) Ghulam Mohammed Shaheen, Janta Dal (United) president for Jammu and Kashmir has resigned from the party here on Thursday.
A close associate of the politician told news agency Global News Service (GNS) that Shaheen had off-late developed some differences with the party leadership in the center.
“Despite expressing his resentment on various issues plaguing the party, the leadership however didn’t pay any heed, forcing the leader to quit the party”, he said.
Meanwhile, rumors are rife that the Kashmir-based politician may join Altaf Bukhari-led Apni Party anytime soon. (GNS)
