A hailstorm setting in this afternoon has wreaked havoc on orchards and standing crops here in multiple hamlets of the Hachmarg Chowkibal area.
Reports reaching Srinagar-based news agency said that the hailstorm witnessed in Hachmarg Chowkibal The Tarathpora Ramhall started at around 2:28 PM. Lasting for about 10 minutes, the hailstorm caused extensive damage to orchards including apple, almond, walnut, and cherry besides substantially damaging standing crops, vegetables, and paddy saplings.
