Nidae KashmirSrinagar 13 June : An honest youth of Sumbal Bandipora on Thursday handed over a purse, containing cash of Rs. 15,000, to a female yatri who had lost it at Transit Yatra Camp Shadipora in district Bandipora.
Exemplifying the Kashmiriyat yet again, the youth identified as Taawoos Ahmad Khanday – an employee of Rehbar-e-Khel and a resident of Sumbal Bandipora – provided a closure to a female yatri from Maharashtra after handing over to her a purse which she had lost along with cash of Rs. 15,000 and other items.
The female yatra expressed her gratitude towards Khanday for the gesture shown which is rare to find in the present times. She said that her purse contained cash, which was kept by her for yatra expenses and could have come across lots of problems without the money. (CNS)
