Shopian, May 29: Police booked three youth from the Shopian district in connection with an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast. Militants on 16 May this month had detonated an IED when an army patrolling party from 44 Rashtriya Rifles were moving towards Trukwangam village of South Kashmir’s Shopian district. Sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that police have booked three youth for their alleged involvement in this IED attack. All these three youth are the residents of Turkwangam village. They have been identified as Shoaib Shafi Bhat, Muntazir Farooq Lone, and Tauqeer Ashraf Lone.
