Government Degree College Magam proudly celebrated the 77th Independence Day of the nation with fervor and enthusiasm. The college premises were adorned with the tricolor flags and decorations, setting the stage for a memorable event that brought together students, faculty, and staff.
The festivities began with the hoisting of the Indian national flag by the college principal Prof. Mohammad Hussain Malik, followed by the singing of the national anthem by the entire gathering. The atmosphere was charged with patriotic spirit as the attendees joined in singing patriotic songs.
This event also featured speeches by the faculty members who emphasized the importance of unity, diversity, and the responsibility that comes with freedom. Students, headed by Tawseefa showcased their talents through cultural performances that depicted the rich tapestry of Indian heritage.
Principal of the College, Prof. Mohammad Hussain Malik expressed his gratitude to all participants and attendees for making the event a grand success. He reiterated the importance of nurturing a sense of patriotism and responsibility towards the nation among the youth.
The Independence Day celebrations at Government Degree College Magam were not only a commemoration of the historic struggle for freedom, but also a reminder of the duties that citizens bear to uphold the values enshrined in the Constitution.
