Poonch || J&K Bank’s Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) Poonch today organised a valedictory function and distributed certificates among unemployed youth after successful completion of their training for Jammu Kashmir Rural Employment Generation Program (JKREGP) under Entrepreneur Development Program (EDP).
The Chief Guest on this occasion was AKS Baggi Cluster Head J&K Bank District Poonch accompanied by Lead District Manager Ashotosh Raj Koul in presence of Director JKBRSETI Poonch, Vijay Singh Jasrotia and Faculties.
Cluster Head Mr. AKS Bagee advised all the trainees to make use of digital products offered by J&K Bank for their day to day banking business and also stressed upon to use QR -codes for Online business transactions at their respective establishments.
Stressing on the self employment generation, the LDM Poonch urged the youth to avail benefits from government sponsored schemes and make best use of the training to become successful entrepreneurs.
He urged youth to turn lack of facilities into opportunities and become job providers instead of job seekers. He said there are huge opportunities for aspiring youngsters who can avail various benefits under different government schemes being implemented in the District.
On the occasion, Director RSETI apprised the participants about the different skill development programs imparted by the bank’s training institute that acts as a nursery for start-ups and helps in the creation of sustainable livelihoods for the unemployed youth of the state.
The candidates appreciated the institute’s endeavours to promote self- employment among unemployed youth and its efforts of imparting periodic skill up gradation to keep them abreast of latest processes and technologies.At last
the trained aspirants were handed over their training certificates.
