Srinagar 07 Oct: J&K High Court Bar Association Election has deferred due to non-issuance of the permission by district administration Srinagar.
According to Current News Service, the Election Commission of J&K High Court Bar Association Srinagar has decided to deffer the election of the High Court Bar Association till further announcement.
According to the Statement issued CNS they said that today election Commission of High Court Bar Association held its meeting in connection withholding of the annual Bar Election, which was scheduled for tomorrow the 8th of October, 2020.
They said that the District administration, has, however, failed to issue the required permission till date. In view of the non-issuance of the permission, a meeting was conducted by the Election Commission with the contesting candidates for exploring the alternative mode of conducting of elections. In view of the matter, the elections scheduled for tomorrow i.e. 8th of October, 2020, has been deferred till an alternative mechanism is explored.(CNS)
