Srinagar September 30: In a recent decision, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education has decided to promote the students of higher secondary part first- 11th, annual/bi-annual (private) 2020 Jammu division to higher secondary part second- 12th without any examination.

According to an order copy issued by JKBSOE, “owing to COVID pandemic the examination, of HSP –Ist 11th annual/bi-annual (Pvt) 2020 of summer zone Jammu division has got delayed and immediate conduct of said examination is not possible. Whereas the further delay in the conduct of the exam may cause undue hardships to the examinees.”

“Now therefore to save the academic career of the candidates it is hereby notified that all the eligible candidates who are supposed to appear in HSP-1 Annual/bi-annual Pvt (2020) falling under summer zone in Jammu division shall be promoted to HSP-II class 12th, as a one-time exception, on the analogy of students of HSP –Ist 11th Annual/bi-annual Pvt 2019-2020 Private of Kashmir Division/ Winter Zone of Jammu division and HSP-1 class 11th annual regular 2020 Summer Zone JD notified vide No: F (Acad-C) B/MP/XI/2020 dated 7, 4, 2020, provided that all such candidates have submitted the permission cum admission forms for the said examination i.e. HSP- 1 class 11th annual/bi-annual Pvt 2020 Summer Zone”.(CNS)
