Kashmir University increases examination fee, allege students, Registrar denies the claim

Srinagar, June 1, KNT: The University of Kashmir has increased the examination fees amid the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic, alleged the students.

Students alleged that instead of considering a reduction in the examination fee for the current semesters, the University has started charging Rs 650 extra.

The last date for submission of the examination fee for all PG courses is June 15 while students have been directed to pay Rs 2,000 instead of Rs 1350.

“It is disgusting to see the attitude and behavior of Kashmir University Management which misses no opportunity to exploit the poor students,” a student from Bio-Chemistry Department told news agency Kashmir News T…
