Srinagar, June 02: The Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) on Wednesday staged a silent protest against the government for not releasing the salaries of around 149 teachers.

Scores of teachers assembled at Srinagar’s Press Enclave and held a sit-in to press for their demands.

Muhammad Rafiq Rather, Chairman Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that 149 teachers are not getting their salaries due to an ‘adverse report.
