Srinagar, Feb 11 :: The fresh snowfall in Srinagar, the central Kashmir district, caused a delay in flight operations on Saturday morning, according to officials.
The Director of Srinagar International Airport, Kuldeep Singh, told Kashmir that the light snowfall situation resulted in the diversion of Air Asia flight I5 709 to Delhi and the holding of SpiceJet flight SEJ950 and Air India flight AIC827 overhead.
Airport officials stated that operations will resume once weather conditions improve. Passengers are advised to check with their airlines for updates on their flight schedules.
