Nidae KashmirSopore, July 27 : A madrassa teacher was apprehended on Thursday for allegedly sodomizing a minor boy in Sopore town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
A police official told news agency that the arrest came following a complaint lodged by a 12-year-old boy (identity withheld), who accused his madrasa teacher (identity withheld) of committing the heinous act.
Upon receiving the complaint, the police promptly initiated an investigation, leading to the arrest of the accused madrasa teacher on charges of sodomy.
A senior police officer, while confirming the incident, told , that a case under Section 377 of the law has been registered in connection with the alleged sodomy, and the investigation is underway.
