Kupwara, Nov 08 : Army on Sunday claimed to have killed one militant along the line of control LOC in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Srinagar based defense Spokesperson Rajesh Kalia in a statement issued to Kashmir Despatch said suspicious move of unidentified persons detected by own patrolling party near LC fence at Machil Sector on night 7/8 Nov 2020 at 0100h.
Militants trying to infiltrate intercepted by own troops, contact was established. One militant killed.
He said one AK and two bags were recovered from the slain militant.
A police officer told Kashmir Despatch that operation in the border is in process.
