Kishtwar June 11: Kishtwar Police recovered a minor kidnapped girl within two hours and arrested the accused persons involved in the commission of crime.On 10-06-2021, PS Kishtwar received a complaint from Bipan Lal S/O Dev Raj Sharma R/O Thatri A/P Hatta Kishtwar stating therein that his daughter had been kidnapped by one Ankush Adwan alongwith unknown person.Accordingly, a case vide FIR No.130/2021 under relevant sections of law was registered in PS Kishtwar and investigation was initiated.SSP Kishtwar constituted a special team headed by SHO PS Kishtwar Insp Abid Bukhari. Acting swiftly the team was able to recover the kidnapped girl within two hours and arrest the accused person from Shalimar area of Kishtwar.The accused person are identified as Ankush S/0 Antesh kumar R/0 Narwal jammu and Gagandeep SinghS/0 Gurcharan Singh R/0 Talab tillo jammu.After fulfilling all medico-legal formalities, the girl has been handed over to her legal heirs.Swift action by police against anti-social elements has been appreciated by the locals.SSP Kishtwar Mr Batt-JKPS requested to the general Public to cooperate with police in curbing social crimes in their neighbourhood. They can share information pertaining to social crimes with police. We reassure the community members that our efforts in curbing social crimes shall continues.
