Kulgam, Apr 24: A 35-year-old non-local labourer from Bihar, who was working as a welder, died in the Damhal Hanjipora area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district, officials said.
A police official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer that a labourer identified as Mohammad Azad Alam, 35, son of Ghulam Mohiuddin of Bihar, who was working as a welder at Bathipora, D H Pora complained of severe chest pain on late night.
Soon after Alam was taken to District Hospital Kulgam, he has declared brought dead on arrival by the doctors, the official said.
The official said that the body was brought to DH Kulgam for the COVID-19 test following which the test result came negative.
“The body of the deceased will be handed over to his legal heirs after completion of all legal formalities,” he said—(KNO)
