Bandipora:DT National Board for Workers Education and Development ( DTNBWED) under Ministry of Labour and Employment Government of India organized a one day short term training programme for unorganised sector workers at Kawpora Bandipora on 22 of June 2023. The programme was organised, conducted and supervised by Dr Pankaj Kumar Rastogi Regional Director DTNBWED Jammu.
In this program 100 unorganised workers were enrolled and were made aware about various schemes of Government of India and UT J&K. The subjects which were discussed during the programme were Pradhan mantry Shram Yogi Mann Dhan Yojna, E-Sharam, Building and other workers welfare Board, Digital Literacy, Health and Hygiene, Social evils Etc.
In this program various dignitaries shared their opinions on various topics.
On this occasion, Rahi Riyaz Ahmed, a prominent social activist of J&K and Chairman of Ahsan Foundation expressed his views and said that it is time for our youth to arrange employment for themselves by taking advantage of various schemes of the government. Along with this, our youth should stay away from drugs and keep themselves busy in sports.
On the occasion Shri Gulzar Ahmad former Education Officer DTNBWED said that there are hundreds of schemes for the workers in different government department so people should come forward and take benefits of such programs. He said there are many departments for women were they can register and start their units of different for livelihood.
Mr Ashiq Hussain Supervisor Women’s Development Corporation Bandipora and Mr Mohammad Rafiq Sofi Field Supervisor Rural Development Department, Shri Ashiq Hussain CD volunteer and Shri Gulam Mohi-ud-din a social worker of Bandipora District also spoke on the occasion.
