PDP welcomes Late Ab Gani Naseem’s son into party fold

Basharat Naseem given rousing welcome by leadership at party head office
Srinagar November 02: Basharat Naseem son of veteran PDP leader and former lawmaker, Late Ab Gani Naseem from Khansahab Budgam on Monday joined Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) amid the rousing welcome accorded to him by the party leadership.
The party leadership while welcoming Basharat into the PDP fold termed his joining as a positive measure towards further strengthening the party at the grassroots.
PDP General Secretary Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura, party’s district President Srinagar Mohd Khurshid Alam, Budgam District President Nazir Ahmad Khan, and other senior leaders were present on the occasion.
Budgam District President Nazir Ahmad Khan expressed hope that by joining the PDP, Basharat’s will carry forward the rich legacy of his father Jenab Late Naseem sb. “It’s indeed heartwarming to see people from different ideologies realizing the real power of working in unison for the greater benefit of the state. At a time when we are facing the existential threat from fascist forces, we must remain united. I wholeheartedly welcome Basharat sb into the party fold,” Khan said on the occasion.(KNS)
