Gandoh,12 June, KNT: Gandoh Police recovered one-hundred- eight bags of rice and wheat in Chanti village of Sub-Division Gandoh.On a specific information regarding smuggling of Government ration,Gandoh under the supervision of SDPO Gandoh Shazada Kabir Mattoo, a team of Gandoh police led by SHO Gandoh inspector Vikram Singh seized (54 Quintal) 87 bags of rice and 21 bags of wheat total 108 bags of ration from possession of one ration dealer namely Bashir Ahmed son of Ab. Rehman wani resident of Soti Dudwar tehsil Gandoh.“Dealer namely Bashir Ahmed of sale Centre chanti who had illegally dumped and selling FCI Ration to poor people on high rates in a private shop at Tawai Market Changa” official said.In this regard a case FIR No. 59/2021 U/S 409 IPS 3/7 E. C. Act has been registered in police station Gandoh and further investigation is in progress(KNT)
