Pulwama, Nov 16: Read Coffee cafe in Pulwama on Monday organised a book fair in which large number of young and old alike people bought books enthusiastically.The fair was organized at read coffee cafe near women’s college Pulwama in collaboration with IBC book club Srinagar.”There was discount of around 60 percent on books and books in hundreds were sold on Monday,” Mir Zeeshan, owner of restaurant Read Coffee cafe.He said that every time hundreds of books remain available at their restaurant and “we offer customers with fast food items besides that they can read books free.”He added that books are sold everyday here but on Monday they offered customers a 60 percent discount and “our motive behind this initiative is to attract more and more youth towards reading as our young people are getting involved in drug addiction”.”I believe everyone has to play his part so that we are stop our future from getting involved in futile exercises and I offer everyone to read books free at my restaurant,” he told news agency—Kashmir News Observer(KNO).Numan Ahmad, a customer on the occasion said that he often visits this restaurant to read books and spends days here to read books here.”Books on every topic are available and whenever I get time I visit here to read books besides getting fast food items,” he said—(KNO)
