GANDOH, JANUARY 2: In a commendable move, the Sub-Divisional Level administration Gandoh, led by SDM, Arun Kumar Badyal, in the last 10 months, has restarted 14 long held up government projects meant for the public utility and general development of the area.
Tightening the noose around the land grabbers, encroachers and malevolent elements, the local administration has resolved numerous issues of public importance, problems and developmental aspirations of the public with full support of District Administration.
The projects of huge public importance thrown open during the period, include Bharthi Dhossa Road held up since 2016, catering the population of around 3000 souls; Tantly Gurekha Road held up since 2015 catering to a population of around 4000; Chilly Paine Road, connecting around 6300 souls to the other areas ; Kharangal Chownri Road serving 5500 souls; Demarcation of Government Degree College Kilothran pending since 2016; Demarcation and starting of work on PHC Chilly Bala and other projects.
The resolution of the public issues has become possible with the personal intervention of the SDM, who reached to every Panchayat and garnered the public support to take tough steps against the trouble makers.
