Shopian June 07: In its efforts to contain the outbreak of Covid-19 and to ensure health safety of public, Police-public interaction meeting was held by Police at Police Station Shopian while following social distancing norms and other protocols.The interaction meeting was chaired by DySP Hqrs Shopian accompanied by SHO PS Shopian and was attended by respectable citizens of the area.The main aim of the meeting was to spread awareness about the government directions and guidelines regarding containment of Covid-19. SOPs to be followed were also spelled out to them for further awareness among general public.During the meeting, participants were urged to take necessary steps for implementation of recent government orders and advisories issued by various authorities from time to time regarding Covid-19 containment. The participants were also stressed upon to ensure social distancing and wear masks at Masajid, in markets and while using public transport.The participants appreciated the efforts of Police for facilitating such meeting where participants express their views freely.
