Sopore: Continuing its crackdown on anti-national elements, the Sopire police registered a case against two OGWs Akhlaq Imtiaz Shaikh son of Imtiaz Ahmed Shaikh son of Watergam, Rafiabad and Irfan Farooq Zargar son of Farooq Ahmed Zargar son Son Sadnar, Rafiabad Under the PSA.
He was taken into custody after receiving formal detention orders from the competent authority and later lodged in District Jail Kupwara and District Jail Anantnag.
These individuals have a history of involvement in anti-national activities, which is evidenced by the numerous FIRs registered against them.
This action is taken to ensure that they do not indulge in activities detrimental to the security of the state.
