SPO terminated, further investigation taken up.
Srinagar:- Jammu and Kashmir police on Thursday claimed to have arrested a special police officer(SPO) and health employee among three drug peddlers in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
An official said that acting on a specific information, a police party of Police Station Aragam led by SHO PS Aragam Inspector Sajad Ahmad under the supervision of DYSP Hqrs Bandipora Shafat Mohammad-JKPS Naka was laid at Gund Dachina crossing during which three drug peddlers were arrested.
He said that one among them is a special police officer(SPO) who has been terminated.
The case has been registered and investigation has been set into motion, he said.(Desk Report)
