This group was involved in attack on CRPF at Pulwama yesterday:IGP Kashmir
Srinagar, October 20: Three Lashkar Toiba militants were killed in an encounter in Hakripora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday.
Inspector General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar told GNS that three militants were killed in Pulwama.
IGP further said that this group was involved in the attack on CRPF yesterday in which two CRPF troopers were injured.
Pertinently two militants were killed in an Overnight encounter in Shopian.
Earlier, Reports reaching GNS that a joint team of Police and army’s 50RR launched a cordon and search operation in Hakripora.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off an gunfight.(GNS)
