Nidae KashmirSrinagar, Oct 12: Top commander of Lashker-e-Toiba Saifullah has been killed along with a local militant in Rambagh Barzulla area.
Inspector General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar told that both the militants have been killed.
Earlier IGP Kashmir told reporters that “The operation is continuing. Srinagar police got information that a Pakistani militant Saiffulah along with another, a local from south Kashmir, are hiding in the area. He is same Saifullah who was involved in Nowgam attack recently in which 2 CRPF personnel were killed. He was also involved in September 24 attack in Chadoora (in which an ASI of CRPF was killed,” said IGP Kashmir while talking to media persons as per GNS. “We will soon neutralize him. We are moving carefully to avoid any collateral damage.”
He said that militants were offered surrender as part of the SOP but they refused.
