Trio including a civilian injured in Srinagar grenade attack

Srinagar, May 7:  Trio including a trooper was injured after an unknown person hurled a grenade towards a deployment party of CRPF in Nawab Bazar chowk of Srinagar city.
Sources told KNT that a grenade was tossed troopers of 36 Battalion that exploded with a bang, leaving at least three persons including a civilian injured.
The injured have been identified as Constable Fayaz Ahmed, trooper Harish Kumar, and civilian Hazik Ali, a resident of Chanapora who runs a poultry shop.
The condition of the injured is stated to be stable. The area was cordoned off after the attack, however, no arrests were made.KNT
