Sopore, 15 April: Unit holders of Tulbal Industrial Estate on Monday held a peaceful protest against government to demand the release of their allotted land for 75 unit holders.
The protesters speaking to media claims that they have completed all the necessary formalities for the land allotment, but the authorities are still holding onto it, causing delays in setting up their businesses.
The protesters are demanding immediate action from the government to ensure that they get possession of their allotted land so that they can start their businesses and generate income.
Javid Ahamd Bhat president Industrial Estate said that they had completed all the necessary formalities for acquiring the land, yet they were facing delays in taking possession.
He further said that the delay has been hindering their plans to set up their businesses and causing them financial hardship.
Bhat also said that the next protest will be held on April 18th at 10 am at Sanat Ghar Srinagar if government will not resolve the issue till date.
The unit holders urged the concerned authorities to intervene and expedite the process of handing over the possession of the allotted land.
They appealed to government to address their concerns regarding the delay in the land allotment process at earliest.
