Clinic sealed, case registered against a lady doctor for flouting Covid-19 related SOPs

Baramulla, May 17: On the directions of district administration, police registered a formal case against a lady doctor and seized the clinic for violating Covid-19 related guidelines.

The private clinic in question is ‘Appollo Poly Clinic’ located in the Gokhama Kunzar area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

An official told news agency Kashmir News Trust that after receiving complaints that a lady doctor was flouting the Covid-19 related guidelines at a private clinic, police and civil team lead by Tehsildar Kunzar Farooq Ahmed visited the clinic and found the complaints accurate.

Subsequently, the clinic was sealed and a formal FIR under relevant sections was registered against the lady doctor at police station Kuzniar.

SHO Kuzniar Athar Parvez confirmed that a case has been registered against a doctor for violating Covid-19 related SOPs. (KNT)
