Nidae KashmirSrinagar, May 3: (GNS) District Magistrate Anantnag Dr. Piyush Singhla has Monday declared four localities falling under medical zones Qazigund and Bijbehra as micro-containment zones, in line with the COVID containment measures, on detection of positive cases.
The notified micro-containment zones according to an order, of which a copy lies with Srinagar-based news agency Global News Service (GNS), include; Badragund, Vessu – Medical Zone Qazigund – and Y.K Pora, Mehandi – Medical Zone Bijbehara.
Apprehensive of the fact that the positives’ may have met more people, it has become imperative to take further stringent precautionary measures thus declaring the affected villages as Micro-Containment Zones to check the further transmission, the order underscores.
