Teenager commits suicide, jumps into river in North Kashmir

Bandipora, Apr 14, KNT: A teenage boy allegedly committed suicide by jumping into the Kishan Ganga river in the Bandipora district of north Kashmir, official sources said.

Muzamil Ahmad Samoon son of Ghulam Ahmad Samoon, a resident of Khandiyal village of Gurez, jumped into the river.

Official sources told KNT that after hard efforts his body was fished out from the river and shifted to Sub District Hospital Gurez where doctors declared him brought dead.

They said it was not immediately known as to what prompted the boy to take such an extreme step.

The deceased was a laborer by profession.

Police have registered a case and started a 6investigation. (KNT)
