Cop on duty dies of cardiac arrest in DPL AwantiporaC

Srinagar, Apr 13: (GNS) A policeman posted at District Police Lines Awantipora died of a cardiac arrest on intervening Tuesday and Wednesday night, officials said.

Identifying the deceased as Aijaz Ahmad, a resident of Ladhoo in Pampore, the official told Global News Service (GNS) the policeman suffered a massive cardiac arrest, leading to his death.

The body will be handed over to the family after the conduct of necessary medico-legal formalities, the official added. (GNS)
