Note:- Commuters are advised not to travel on Jammu-Srinagar NHW without confirming the status of road from TCU Jammu/Ramban/Srinagar, in view of inclement weather prediction issued by MeT department for next few days.

Tomorrow, subject to fair weather and better road condition, LMVs (Passenger) shall be allowed from Jammu towards Srinagar on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. TCU Jammu shall liaise with TCU Ramban before releasing the traffic.

CUT OFF TIMING:

LMVs from Nagrota (Jammu) 0800 hrs to 1100 hrs & from Jakheni (Udhampur) 0900 hrs to 1200 hrs.
No Vehicle shall be allowed before and after cut-off timing.

HMVs/Load Carriers

Only stranded vehicles in Udhampur jurisdiction shall be allowed towards Srinagar.

SF’s CONVOY MOVEMENT

Security Forces are advised/requested not to ply against advisory/traffic plan in view of traffic congestion on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. They may ply from Jammu towards Srinagar after confirming the status of NHW.

MUGHAL ROAD

Mughal road is blocked due to snow accumulation.

SSG ROAD

SSG road is closed by the J&K Govt. vide DICOM Kashmir’s order No 400/2020 dated 30-12-2020 till further orders.

People are advised to undertake journey on NHW-44 only after confirming the status of the road from Traffic control units as under:-
