Fruits, fruits, and more fruits are very important and play an important role in the overall development of our health. Everyone wants to be smart, fit, and healthy and wants to stay away from all the lethal diseases. To keep fit and healthy, we need something different; we need something special; we need something that has the potential to regenerate our damaged organs, provide us energy, and bestow glamour on our faces, which keeps us fit and healthy.
As every food item is essential for our good health, every food item contains different types of vitamins and minerals, which are very necessary for the development of our body. Fresh fruits or seasonal fruits are very vital for our body, as every organ needs an adequate amount of essential minerals, vitamins, etc.

In this article, I am going to tell you about the benefits of cherries.


Cherry is small and round-shaped. Cherry is a fleshy drupe that belongs to the Prunus Genus. Cherry has a hard seed in the centre, which is surrounded by edible fleshy fruit measuring around 2 cm in diameter. In the Kashmir valley, a number of cherry varieties are found, but only a few are famous and are being exported out of the valley to other states of the country. These day fruit seller on national highways, picnic spots are selling cherries which are generates employment for them and at the same time they are helping cherry growers.
Benefits of cherry:
Cherry is a delicious, sour, and sweet fruit that is found in pink or red.. Cherry contains immense health benefits, such as:
Contains vitamin C, which acts as an antioxidant and is present in sufficient amounts in the cherry fruit. Cherries do not contain fat, cholesterol, or sodium. Cherry fruit is rich in fibre (fibre is good for our bowel movements). Those who have constipation complaints can try cherry, which may help them. Cherries contain vitamin A (a vitamin that is good for our eyesight).
As already mentioned in this article, cherries contain antioxidants, which protect us from one of the most lethal and deadly diseases, cancer. Cherries are good for our bowel movements and contain vitamin C (vitamin C boosts our immune system and keeps our gums healthy).


Treats insomnia (a condition where patients complain that they are not sleeping well). Cherry prevents Alzheimer’s disease. Minimise the risk of stroke. Cherries are beneficial for cancer patients as they contain powerful antioxidants. Prevents inflammation. Tart cherry juice is used for the muscle pain. Lowers the blood pressure.
Suggestion: We should eat all the seasonal and fresh fruits and vegetables for our good health. Fresh fruits and vegetables contain all the essential components like vitamins, minerals, etc. Those who are getting allergic or are having other issues with certain fruits can consult a doctor or avoid them. Introduce all the seasonal fruits and vegetables in your family and emphasise their use to prevent dehydration, and other health-related problems.
